I understand what the Harlot meant

Remember this post? Well, I sort of get it now. I haven't even finished one measly Tulip sweater yet, but I already want to buy more. And more and more and more, in a bunch of different colour combinations (I already have one other kit, but I want like 3 or 4. Or 5).

Tulip Cardigan body_01

This is the squishiest yarn ever! And so easy to work with! And look at the pretty colours! Yeah, I know that everyone else in the entire world has already knit with it, but I didn't realize just how great it was until I finally tried it for myself. Must. Buy. More.

This little cardigan isn't being knit for any baby in particular, in fact it's MINE and will stay MINE so I can pet it and look at all the pretty colours forever and ever. Oh, and humiliate my cat with it, too. I think she actually liked this one, though.

I still have a bag problem...

Okay. I admit I have a problem. That's the first step to getting help right? All kidding aside, I thought I'd update you all on my bag saga.

Remember that beautiful Namaste Messenger from a while back? I've discovered that I've spent too long using totes, and can no longer go back to a messenger bag. While I love the bag itself for the beautiful colour, the fabric, and the size, I probably should have known that a tote girl couldn't become a messenger girl. And so, I've decided to ship it off to someone else so they can get some use out of it. I like that option better than letting it sit, unused, in my closet.

So this brings me to yet another bag that I'm thinking of. While I didn't quite like the Lady B, I'm thinking quite seriously about one of it's cousins: the Redondo. This bag isn't actually made anymore, so I'd probably need to decide pretty quickly. The fact that its price has been reduced is pretty attractive. Downside, I'd need to pay shipping to get it over here.

Things I'm coveting

People who know me know that I'm a total SUCKER when it comes to bags. I just love them, with all their different styles, shapes, and colours. And let's not forget the oh so many possibilities when it comes to pockets, and other organizational goodies.

Here are a couple bags that I think are super cute, and would love to try to see how good they really are at carrying WIPs.

The first is the messenger bag from Jordana Paige. I think it's super awesome because it's specifically designed for knitting - slots for needles, circlets to prevent yarn from tangling, and lots of slots and pockets.

The second is the adorable Lady B from Lexie Barnes. I like the shape of it because it's not your standard tote.

Both are a lot more that I've ever paid for a bag, and considering I have an army of bags in my closet already, it's hard to justify the purchase of yet another one. Plus there are pros and cons to each of them, and I can't be sure what I'll think of it unless I try them out first. The nice thing about the Lady B is that apparently Lettuce Knit sells Lexie Barnes stuff, so I might try popping down there to check it out one day. I think I need to sort through my own bag collection first though; I might be able to use something that I've already got.

Ahh...I'll come out and admit it though...I'm a bag addict!
