1 Monkey done....Monkey 2 on the way
Got one of these babies off my needles. All in all, it was a really fun time, so I'm looking forward to the second one. Maybe I'll do a better job of grafting the toe. I seem to suck at Kitchener stitch - I seem to get funny bumps on each end.

Here's a photo I took while still working on the sock. I wanted to see what Hanatarou thought of it.

I don't think he really wants to wear it (haha!)

Yay, Monkey! It looks totally fab. The pattern and the yarn go really well together!
Oh, and the Kitchener? Mine always looked terrible, complete with funny bumps. Until I was taught to tighten up the grafting from the inside (as I wrote about in my own Monkey post a while back). No bumpies there. Or at least, much reduced bumpies. =)
Your Monkey sock looks fabulous. I love the colors your knit it in.
What a relief Hana didn't like your sock. I stopped tempting my Jake after he tried to carry it away in his mouth.
Adrienne - Ahh...yeah, now that you mention it, I do remember you talking about that in your post. I'll have to give that a try on my second Monkey.
Marie - Thanks!! And Hana actually got more interested as I continued to dangle it in front of his face. But I put it away before he could get his teeth into things :D
Your monkey sock is beautiful. I love the shade you are using. I usually shy away from darker sock colors, but I really like this color.
