Addicted to Entrelac

I know I should really be working on finishing that sweater of mine, but I just couldn't help myself. I think I've been bitten by the Entrelac bug. After finishing that dishcloth, I couldn't stop thinking about what it might be like to do Entrelac with Noro. So, I couldn't resist any longer, and decided to start my version of Quant.

I'm really enjoying this knit. There are probably some places where I've been a little inconsistent about the way I've been picking up my stitches, but I think I can live with that. I think as far as knitters go, I rank pretty low on the 'anal' scale. (haha!)

I'll post again when this is all finished!

Yay Noro! It looks fab so far. And quick, hooray for near-instant entrelac-y gratification! I'm sure you won't be able to notice any stitch-picking-up inconsistencies unless you looked really carefully.

It's such a cute pattern, but I really can't do the headscarf thing, they make me look super-duper dorky (even more than usual!).

Oh, I love head scarves. They keep your ears toasty and warm and still let your hair out.
I love the colors you picked out.

Hi Adrienne's blog partner. Your Quant is looking great. Is this your 1st time with entrelac? Quant is on my list. Headbands & headscarves work much better for me than hats. Lovely shade of Noro you're using!

Adrienne: I've never really done the head scarf thing, so I don't know if it'll make me look extra dorky or not. I'll take a picture and we can all decide :D

Marie: Thanks! I'm actually pretty excited about this one. Noro is pretty much always heavenly.

Sherry: Hi there! Thanks for your comments! This is actually my second foray into entrelac, and I'm finding that I really like it as far as techniques go. I think I've yet to find a shade of Noro that I didn't like :)
