Getting it over with

After months and months of procrastination, I finished Greg's socks. These were originally intended as a Christmas gift, but after finishing the pair for my mom and dad, I just ran out of steam. So, we gave my brother some DVDs, and I promised him socks at a later date. So here they are. Finally.

Now on to more fun things...

Ha! They are so super-bright and happy and green. I adore them. What was his reaction when you gave them to him? Do you think he will wear them? Is he a wear-socks-around-the-house kind of guy?

So, no more sock knitting for you for a while? =P

I actually haven't given them to him just yet. He's been super busy (it being tax time, and him being an accountant and all), so our family hasn't had a chance to get together in a while. I'll let you know what his reaction is.

And maybe just no more plain toe-up socks for a while :D I might try some other types. I have some sock yarn slated for toe-up toe socks, but that's about it. And since I'm not planning to buy more yarn for a while, I think it may be some time before socks hit my needles.

Funny, us just talking about socks. I need to finish up some projects before i do any socks but a 'toe-up' sock and Monkeyss are the next two on my list!
