These are just pictures of the scarf I made for my dad. It's made from Noro Shinano colourway 9. I haven't washed it yet, so it still feels a little stiff. Plus it's a little shorter than I originally wanted it to be. Oh well...

And this is the alpaca yarn that I got for my mom's cowl. It is in fact from Blue Sky Alpaca, and is really soft.

And here's the start of the cowl. It's going to take a while, but I think if I work on it every day I'll be able to finish it in time. I got 3 balls of yarn for it and haven't even finished one of them yet, so I know there's a way to go. I'll be sure to put another picture of it up when I'm closer to done (or just plain done!). >_<

Awesome scarf! It does indeed look very dad-like, I'm sure he'll love it. =)
I can't wait to see the finished cowl, it even *looks* soft! Love the pic of the alpaca on the ball band, that's just too funny.
I know! Isn't that label just too funny? I had to make sure it got into the picture. Makes me think that everything we buy should have a picture of where it came from on it. I think it would make people think twice about buying some things.
