Happy American Turkey Day! Look what I finished:
Silk Garden hat & scarf in colour 87. I love love love the colours in this yarn. I want more! The scarf is a multidirectional scarf, and the hat is done in garter stitch (with a bit of ribbing at the bottom) to match the scarf pattern. It was a major pain in the arse to do all that purling using dpns, but worth it in the end, I think.

As Mr. Seshadri used to say, Wah! It looks beautiful!! *girlish squeal* That colour looks awesome on you. I'm not really a pink kinda person, but that colour does look really good. I haven't got anything that I can put online just yet so I feel like I've been kinda slacking when it comes to this blog, and my knitting. I'm getting closer to finishing my Christmas knitting though (but I can't show it right now...rawr...). *cheer!*
Merci buckets! It was really really fun to knit with this yarn. I'd love to knit with more Silk Garden, but if I tried to make a sweater I think I'd drive myself crazy trying to match the striping. =)
I am struggling to finish Christmas stuff, too. I think I have 2 more things to finish (or start =P), so maybe almost there?
